| CRE Finance Council January Convention, Miami, Jan 8-11th | |

The CMBS team attended the January 2012 CREFC Conference, which was co-chaired by KBRA's
Kim Diamond. The team met with market participants over the 3 day conference and
discussed KBRA's progress since launching our CMBS platform last year.
2011 was a busy, and exciting year for us as we published two CMBS criteria publications,
our Property Evaluation Guidelines and Single Borrower & Large Loan Criteria as well as
our Commercial Mortgage Servicer Review Process. During the latter half of the year, we
rated six Single Borrower Large Loan Transactions. We are looking forward to bringing the
same level of information and transparency to the conduit/fusion space, and are diligently
working on the final calibration of our rating methodology, which we plan to roll out early
this year.

Kroll Bond Ratings took part in the CoreLogic RiskSummit 2011 from July 31st - August 2nd. The RiskSummit 2011 included market participants who were wrestling with securitization policy decisions in both the public and private sectors. Glenn Costello, Senior Managing Director, moderated one of the most popular panels called "Let's hear it from the researchers". During this panel, top analysts drew on the latest research and market trends in a spirited roundtable discussion of what's happening in the market now and what they expect to see happening as new regulations and processes unfold. |
